Warband gives you a general idea of what you can expect from Bannerlord, from the base game features to the mod overhauls. #2.
levelling and companion systems feel inferior to warband. It lacks the great sense of progression that Warband had where you and your homies go from peasant tier to gods of the battlefield. In bannerlord you start off pretty good and then improve slightly. Companions don't feel impactful on the battlefield.
