1250 RT Wi-Fi Connection Problem. I am a new BMW rider. I am struggling to understand the features of my 2023 R 1250 RT. A major problem is that I keep losing my map display on the TFT. I see on YouTube videos that the “Connected” app must remain the active display on my cell phone when I put it in the compartment with the fan.
In the process of adding some extras to my new 2019 R1250RT and it would be really beneficial if BMW had schematics for the removal of the fairing pieces that shows all the anchor points and the type of Torx screw bolts required for each location, it's a pain in the rear end to have to bag and tag each panels bolt assortment.

I hope This will be a very short thread. I have an R1250RT, and I’m looking for someone or some company who makes an adjustable gear lever. I am ok’ish with the gear lever length. It is the rubber covered rod/pin that you push down on ( or tuck your boot under to pull up), that I need about 3/4 - 1 inch longer.

For a mere mortal and cheap bxstard like myself I trust the 1250 engine will be better than the 1200 as the 1200 was better than all its predecessors. He may well be right in HIS assertions that BMW`s shift cam valve operator may not be best suited for off road purposes. BMW had a problem with some mirros on 2021 and 2022 RT models. I'm going to try the " turn on bike (engine not running) and turn the throttle slowly from idle to wide open three times" as folks have suggested this resets something and gets rid of the vibration, at least temporarily. h36rYcw.
