There are two types of resets you can do: a soft reset and a hard reset. Follow the steps below to perform a soft reset: Press and hold the power button for about 10 to 15 seconds. Keep holding the button until the Samsung logo appears on the screen. Releasing the power button at this point will initiate a soft reset.
Step 1 White Backing. To begin working on your repair, turn your device over and open the micro SD slot, as shown in the first picture. Using the flat part of the spudger, begin pushing it between the white backing and the SD slot. Continue to pry off the white backing until you hear several clicks and see the white backing lift up, as shown in If adding your Google ™ account, skip to step 10. If presented with the Tablet Activation screen, tap 'Next' or 'Activate Now' (if available). If prompted, enter the account PIN then follow the onscreen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info). If activating a new tablet on an existing phone number, ensure the old device is powered off. pyco.
