Golf mk5 2007 1.4tsi dual charged engine code BMY. Problem; bought the car with stretched timing chain and a litle rattle. When i run diagnostic i get fault code P3008. So i changed timing chain yesterday. First start was okey no rattle or fault codes. After i let it warm up for about 20 minutes i get engine light back on with fault code P3008

Hi all, My son has just bought this car on a 58 plate and it has developed the following issue: When flooring the accelerator to overtake the supercharger phase is good then the turbo charger takes over, but after 2/3 seconds the turbo gauge drops to half and the power decreases (but still accelerates but not as quickly) you feel a slight jolt as the turbo seems to drop out (no EMU light comes). xMy1dou.
